What India Recap Is — And What It Isn’t
We are a news analysis and context publication, not a breaking news wire.
By the time a story breaks, you’ve already seen the headline on five other apps. What you haven’t seen is a clear, honest explanation of what it actually means, why it happened, and what comes next. That is the gap we exist to fill.
We are not trying to be the fastest. We are trying to be the most useful.
We don’t chase clicks with outrage headlines. We don’t publish content designed to make you angry or afraid. We publish content designed to make you better informed.
What We Cover
Indian Politics — Election analysis, policy impact, party dynamics, and the decisions made in Delhi and state capitals that affect ordinary Indians. We go beyond who won and who lost to explain what it means for the country.
Science — Space research, environmental developments, and scientific discoveries — with a specific focus on Indian science institutions like ISRO, DRDO, and Indian universities doing original research.
Technology — Products, policy, and digital trends affecting Indian consumers and businesses. We focus on what technology actually means for Indians, not just what Silicon Valley is doing.
Sports — Analysis and coverage of Indian cricket, athletics, and Olympic sports, with a focus on the stories behind the results.
Health — Public health developments, disease outbreaks, and health policy that affects Indian readers. We do not publish health advice — only verified public health information.
News — National and international developments with direct relevance to India and Indian readers.
Our Editorial Team
India Recap is backed by a dedicated editorial team committed to producing fewer, better articles rather than more, thinner ones. Every piece of content published on this site goes through multiple layers of research, writing, and editorial review before it reaches our readers.
Our team covers five core areas of expertise:
Politics & Current Affairs Editor — Responsible for all political coverage, election analysis, and policy reporting. Oversees story selection, source verification, and editorial direction for India Recap’s most-read category.
Science & Technology Writer — Covers space research, scientific discoveries, and technology developments with a specific focus on their relevance to Indian readers. Translates complex topics into clear, accurate reporting.
Sports Correspondent — Handles cricket, athletics, and Olympic sports coverage. Focuses on analysis and context behind results rather than score updates alone.
Health & Public Affairs Reporter — Covers public health developments, disease outbreaks, and health policy affecting Indian readers. All health content is verified against official sources before publication.
Fact-Checker & Copy Editor — Reviews every article before publication for factual accuracy, source attribution, and editorial standards. Final checkpoint before any content goes live on India Recap.
All content published on India Recap goes through editorial review before publication. We do not publish anonymous articles, every piece carries full editorial accountability.
Our Editorial Standards
Every article published on India Recap meets the following minimum standards:
- Every factual claim is traced to a named, verifiable source
- Numerical data is verified against primary documents before publication
- Analysis is clearly labeled as analysis and separated from reported facts
