OnePlus will be rolling out the ‘Plus Mind’ feature, which uses OnePlus’ AI technology to examine, keep track of, and recall important events.

The ‘Plus Mind’ Update Is Coming To OnePlus 13 & OnePlus 13R
The OnePlus 13S was the device with which OnePlus introduced this feature, and now it will be heading to the OnePlus 13 and 13R, providing an additional layer of personalization and accessibility for users of OnePlus’ flagship lineup.
OnePlus has already started the global rollout of the Plus Mind feature starting July 14, packaging it as a part of the latest software update, meaning the feature will arrive to OnePlus 13 and 13R devices in the coming days and weeks.
How Does the Plus Mind Feature Work?
On the OnePlus 13S, the feature can be activated by simply pressing the AI Plus button, but on the 13 and 13R, this button does not exist, so you’ll have to use an upward three-finger swipe to activate it.
Upon pressing the button or doing the finger-swipe gesture, the feature will capture the information on the screen and come up with smart suggestions on what to do with the information, such as adding it to a calendar event, setting a reminder, or simply storing it in Mind Space.
The Plus Mind feature can also generate descriptions, come up with tags to categorize content, and translate text from any language into the native language of the user.
The Mind Space Added To App Library Of OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R
Mind Space is a new app added to the 13 and 13R, which will store all the information and data you recall using the Plus Mind feature. The Mind Space also works in combination with the AI Search feature—so if you put relevant keywords in the search bar, it’ll show you results from the Mind Space as well.
This means with a few taps, users can easily save any information they want into the mind space—and with a few taps, recall and revisit the same.
OnePlus Continues To Grow Its AI Strategy
OnePlus had announced earlier this year that it is actively working on its AI strategy, which aims to take advantage of AI tech to provide a personalized experience to users.
As a part of this, various AI features for productivity, personalization, entertainment, and accessibility have already rolled out on a selection of OnePlus smartphones.
This includes useful features like AI Search, AI Translate, AI VoiceScribe, and image-specific features like AI Reframe and AI Perfect Shot.
