According to various sources and outlets, a 12-year-old girl from Nagpur named Trisha Bijwe was involved in a serious zipline incident in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, falling more than 30 feet.
What caused her to fall from the zipline?
During her vacation with family, Trisha was riding the zipline for fun. No one expected anything would go wrong, but it did.
A video, which is apparently filmed by a relative, has been surfacing on the internet, showing how halfway through the zipline, the cable connected to the harness she was wearing snapped and broke.
Trisha suffered multiple fractures due to the devastating nature of the fall.
This break caused the young girl to fall straight onto a bunch of boulders by the riverbed—30 feet below. She suffered multiple fractures and was rushed to a nearby Manali Hospital for immediate treatment.
She was later transferred to a specialty facility and has been discharged since then.
Her condition is now stable, and no case was filed.
According to sources who reached out to her family, Trisha has been discharged after undergoing an operation, and her condition is stable. The family also came to an agreement with the zipline operators, and hence no case was filed.
